Shipping Information
When your order is processed, you will receive an email notification that your order has been received. Using your Designer Showcase account, you can review your Order History which will include the status of your order. Some of our products feature free standard shipping within the 48 contiguous states. Designer Showcase is responsible for these shipping charges. (See Standard Shipping information below). There is also the option to choose White Glove delivery for the shipping of your item(s) for an upcharge, the upcharge amount can be seen once you click on the dropdown. (See White Glove delivery information below).

Some of our products have a fixed price shipping charge; you will see this charge appear at checkout. You also have the option to upgrade to White Glove delivery (See White Glove delivery information below).

Some of our larger products (furniture pieces, etc.) show a "Freight Collect" icon, please see "Freight Collect Information" below.

All pieces are special ordered, we do not hold any furniture, bedding or accessories on our showroom floor. Items that are in-stock with the supplier (including bedding, lighting, rugs, artwork and accessories) typically ship within 3-5 business days. Please see "Furniture Shipping Information" below for any in stock or custom furniture orders. In the event of a delay, we will notify you by email. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. Due to the custom nature of many of our items delivery lead times will vary. Please refer to the product pages for estimated delivery time for all items.

Our deliveries are sent by UPS, FedEx or freight carrier. Post Office box delivery is not available.
 
Some of our items require additional charges to ensure they arrive at your home in perfect condition. Artwork, lighting, glass and delicate items may need to be securely carted and packaged, requiring special handling fees. We will notify you of any additional shipping charges above our standard shipping cost. "Extraordinary" delivery conditions (such as penthouses, island communities.....) may also require an additional fee.


Furniture Shipping Information
Designer Showcase will make delivery arrangements only for the 48 contiguous states, we do not ship outside of the US at this time.

Shipping dates are not determined by Designer Showcase, once an order is ready with a manufacturer, we will be notified and we will set up the pick up of your item(s) with a bonded and licensed delivery company. Turnaround times depend on location of the manufacturer as well as the location of the final shipment. Designer Showcase does not have control of the shipping company’s transit times and delivery schedules. Once the delivery company receives your item(s) you will be contacted by the delivery company directly when they have put you on their schedule to your area.
 
Upon delivery of your item(s), please take time to inspect all freight shipped items carefully for any damage that may have occurred in transit. Any claim not reported at the time of delivery will not be accepted.
 
If for any reason your custom furniture piece does not arrive with the specifications that you selected when ordering, or the item(s) arrive damaged, Designer Showcase reserves the right to have the item(s) replaced and reshipped at no additional charge to you. Please contact us within 48 hours if this occurs so that we can get the replacement in the works as soon as possible.
 
Designer Showcase will contact you with a follow up phone call or email to be sure that your product(s) arrived correctly and that you’re 100% satisfied with your purchase.


Shipping Estimates
Furniture shipping quotes are based on the weight of the item(s) that are purchased, location of pick up and other factors. Designer Showcase has provided fixed price shipping amounts on most items that do not offer Free Shipping. These prices are not negotiable, however you do have the option to upgrade to White Glove delivery. (See White Glove delivery information below).  If you wish to get an exact freight quote for anything that displays a Freight Collect icon, please allow us up to 24 hours to respond so we can provide you with the most accurate rate at the lowest possible cost.

Standard Delivery
Items that offer Free Shipping or have Fixed Priced shipping will be shipped via "Standard Delivery". Standard delivery includes the item(s) being brought into your home. This does not include removal of packaging materials, setting up, etc. (See White Glove Delivery below for these options).
 

White Glove Delivery
White glove delivery is a premium in-home delivery service that generally includes unpacking, removal/disposal of packing materials and placement of items in the room/s of your choice. It may also include assembly for items such as beds, cribs, tables, and more. "Extraordinary" delivery conditions (such as penthouses, island communities.....) may require an additional fee.

Freight Collect Information
If you have chosen an item that shows the "Freight Collect" icon, this means that freight charges will be paid by you, the customer, directly to the shipping company at the time of delivery. These charges are not collected by Designer Showcase. Please see "Shipping Estimates" for information on how we determine the shipping charges.

Return Policy
Designer Showcase is operated by Village Design Group, a full service Interior Design Center. Although we have a separate department for our internet transactions, we do not accept the return of custom items ordered from our website. To be sure that you’re ordering the correct item, please double-check measurements, sizes, and colors before making a final decision. We are happy to provide fabric and/or finish swatches (available for most of the lines that we carry). Please keep in mind that computer monitors may not accurately display some of the finishes, and since most of these items are custom made, there will be color variations.
 

Custom Orders
Custom furniture orders may be changed or canceled within 24 hours. After 24 hours, we will charge your credit card and process the order as written. After this time custom furniture orders may not be cancelled or changed.
 

Monogrammed/Personalized Items
These items are considered custom order items and are non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable.
 

Damage
Upon delivery, please take time to inspect all freight shipped furniture items, light fixtures and mirrors carefully for any damage that may have occurred in transit and contact us immediately. Claims against damaged items must be made within 48 Hours. Claims made after 48 Hours cannot be accepted. Furniture items must be carefully inspected BEFORE you sign for the delivery.
